Working together with the municipalities of Hinton and Grande Cache, local post secondary institute GPRC and local stakeholders, ARBRI researchers set out to investigate and evaluate best options for the long term sustainability of these resource dependent communities. The project ran from 2010 to 2012.
The purpose of this project was to research and test options for the long term growth and diversity for these growing communities. This project was unique in nature and far reaching in its objectives. The team behind this research included AU scholars as well as experts in industry, finance, humanities and education.
